Privacy

This site collects very little. This page describes what it does collect and what happens to it.

What this site collects

  • Enquiries. When you send the contact form we receive your name, email address, the purpose you chose, your message and any optional details you added.
  • Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs of requests, such as IP address and browser type.

This site has no accounts, sets no advertising or analytics cookies, and does not track you across other sites.

How enquiries are used

Your enquiry is delivered by email and used to reply to you and to route your request to the right part of Open World. Access is limited to the people who need it to respond. Open World uses AI assistants to help organise and draft correspondence; a person remains responsible for what is sent to you.

We do not sell your details, and sending an enquiry does not add you to a mailing list.

Services you may choose to use

Some links on this site take you to services run by other companies, which have their own privacy policies: WhatsApp for messaging, your email provider, Substack for the newsletter, and the Open World Theatre site for member login. What you share there is governed by their terms.

Events, recording and research

Attending an event never implies permission to publish your image or to use your participation as research material. See Participation and consent.

Your requests

You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing atlas@openworldinstitute.org.
